I would like to refer you over [HERE] where Rebecca VanDoodewaard speaks about true Christian Modesty. She is very straight to the point and brings out some thoughts that we all really need to think about.
Hey Cherise! It's Sophie and my recent posts are not showing on your blog section. It says 6 months ago when I posted something last night. anyway, I hope you are well!! I read the post on modesty and it's interesting. I say this because I'm transitioning my blog to a fashion blog. I have two posts so far. She made some points that I'm not sure about, like having a different outfit every Sunday. I don't see anything wrong with that but overall she made good points. I think a girl can still be trendy and modest. It seemed like she was saying being trendy like a fashionista is not good. Of course, if a girl finds her identity in that, then she needs to change that but I think there's nothing wrong in looking tastefully beautiful. Let me know what u think and please let me know if u can get my recent updates. take care cherise and greet baby for me :)
Hi Sophie, I have tried a few different ways of trying to get your updates and it is not working for some reason. I am also not getting your posts on my blog reader. I don't know what is up, but I will keep trying.
As for the modesty article, I think she was trying to give caution to making trendiness a top priority or focus in like. She was simply saying that 'true modesty' is not being focused on those things. Yes, I agree, you can still be modest and trendy at the same time, but as long as it doesn't become our materialistic 'idol', if you want to call it that.
Anyways, it was good to hear from you and I did give Avery a hug for you. :) Take care.
Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment. I really enjoy hearing from you! Please be sure to check back after you leave a comment as I like to respond back.
